Let your student’s creativity and ingenuity come to life with this Three Little Pigs STEM activity. Students will work to design and build a house that can hold 3 little pigs. A variety of materials can be used (cardboard, popsicle sticks, toothpicks, etc.) After the house is complete they will test it against the huffing and puffing of the wolf (fan/blow dryer). A variety of recording sheets are included in addition to color and blackline pigs and wolves.
In addition to the STEM activity, students can compare and contrast different versions of The 3 Little Pigs using a Venn diagram or double bubble map, sequence the events, complete story element maps, and write their opinion of what they would use to build a house.
