Movement Games: Numbers & Counting

Description

Get those wiggles out while practicing important math skills with Movement Games: Counting and Numbers to 10! The games included in this resource focus on subitizing, counting, and number recognition. There are 2 different game board versions included. Version one uses a game board and matching spinner. Version two has the spinner built-in.

The following are included in this resource:

• Ten Frames 0-5 & 6-10
• Fingers 0-5 & 6-10
• Tallies 0-5 & 6-10
• Numbers 0-5 & 6-10
• Counting 0-5 & 6-10

There are at least 3 gameboards per skill. A variety of spinners is also included to allow for variety. You can play with the same game board and change the spinner so new movements are used. This helps build independence but also gives enough change to keep students interested and engaged!

Use a spinner overlay or a paper clip and pencil, grab manipulatives to be game pieces, print the game boards, and you are ready to go. As students spin or move around the game board there are movement icons. If a student lands on or spins a movement icon the spinner or all players complete the movement. No designated amounts have been added for the movements to allow differentiation and integration of math focus when appropriate.

All pre-made gameboards are in color. There are editable game boards and spinners included that are blackline. Using Adobe you can enter the numbers/number words of your choice and they will autofill into the game boards.
