Integrate these sight word activities into your phonics, reading, or literacy block. Sight word games are no prep and support students with sight word spelling. Open the PowerPoint file, think of a word, and you are ready to play!
How to Play:
- Build a House is played like Hangman.
- Name a letter to try and guess the mystery sight word. If the letter is in the word, the teacher will write it on the correct line. If they name an incorrect letter, then a part of the house will appear.
- Play continues until the word is guessed or the house is completely built!
What’s Included: (4 different formats)
- Each set contained a slide for 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6 letter words.
- One set includes no word bank. It could be used for any sight words, vocabulary words, or spelling words.
